Captain America: Brave New World Review

So, I hit the theaters for a little birthday treat and watched the latest Captain America flick, "Brave New World." Now, hold on a second—this isn't my Captain America! It's the new "woke" version, or whatever the internet is calling it. But here's the kicker: Sam Wilson actually has the heart of Captain America, just like Steve Rogers. Makes sense, right? He skips the Super Soldier serum, which is kind of a big deal.

But let me tell you, this movie felt more like a Hulk movie! Seriously, where was Mark Ruffalo? It could have been a smashing good time instead of a subpar Captain America adventure. The Disney+ series "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" nailed it way better than this film. I mean, if they had just kept that vibe and made US Agent the villain, we’d have had a winner!

And can we talk about the fight scenes? Two Hulks going at it would’ve been epic! Instead, we got a finale that felt like a season finale that didn't quite deliver. Plus, everyone online is whining about how Anthony Mackie’s character survived a Hulk hit—newsflash: it’s Wakandan tech! It's kinetic energy, people! Just like Batman somehow surviving Superman. Hilarious, right?

Now, "Brave New World" tried to channel the vibes of "Winter Soldier" and "Civil War," but it felt like they threw a bunch of ideas in a blender and hoped for the best. Spoiler alert: it didn’t work. My ranking? Civil War and Winter Soldier at the top, and this one? Dead last. It was decent, but if you didn’t watch the TV show, good luck understanding Isaiah’s backstory. They tried to tackle some heavy themes, but it just didn’t hit home.

And that post-credit scene? Total snooze fest! It was like, "Hey, there’s a Multiverse—big whoop!" We already knew that! She-Hulk twerking would’ve been a better ending! Anyway, let us know your thoughts if you’ve seen it, and hit us up with recommendations for what we should review next. Thanks for hanging out, and don’t forget to like, subscribe, and hit that notification bell! Until next time, peace out!
