Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man on Disney+. I just finished the season, and let me tell you, it had a fantastic ending! There’s always some chatter about the animation style, with some folks saying it looks a bit old-fashioned. However, it’s actually 3D animation designed to resemble 2D, and I think it adds a unique charm to the show.
It’s refreshing to see that this series isn’t just another Saturday morning cartoon. While it maintains a lighthearted feel, it also dives into some deeper themes. The show balances humor and seriousness, which is a nice touch for a Spider-Man series. It’s interesting to note that the characters sometimes use words that might surprise viewers, but I believe it’s important for the show to resonate with its teen audience. After all, Spider-Man is a teenager, and it makes sense for his stories to reflect that reality.
r so long, Spider-Man has been portrayed in a way that’s primarily aimed at younger children, but I think it’s great that this series acknowledges that older fans are still very much invested in the character. The show captures the essence of Tom Holland's Spider-Man while creating its own unique universe. Although I only caught bits and pieces, what I saw was truly enjoyable. Would you recommend it? I think I’d love to watch it every time you do!
