Millie Bobby Brown Sweet 16 Birthday Message To Trolls & Vial Comments

Happy Birthday to Millie Bobby Brown! The Stranger Things actor took to Instagram on this milestone of a birthdays to share a message in a video set to the song "Changes" by Justin Bieber "16 has felt like a long time coming. i feel like change needs to happen for not only this generation but the next. our world needs kindness and support in order for us children to grow and succeed."

Millie has spent the 2010s being edged into world fame and has had her share of rude and outright sexually inappropriate comments from people who consider themselves fans but express themselves in the most vial ways. This trend to say whatever dirty thought that comes to mind because you're safe in your anonymity is a growing problem.

Millie continues in her statement, "the last few years haven't been easy, I'll admit that. there are moments i get frustrated from the inaccuracy, inappropriate comments, sexualization, and unnecessary insults that ultimately have resulted in pain and insecurity for me. but not ever will i be defeated. ill continue doing what i love and spreading the message in order to make change. let's focus on what needs changing and I hope this video informs you on the things that go on behind the scenes of the headlines and flashing lights. dont worry I'll always find a way to smile ;) leggo 16 ♡."

People online, whether they see themselves as helping or just adding to the problem have held a position that a young girl should not be made up in Hollywood fashion to look older than she does. To that I say its just an excuse to constantly bash a person you don't even know just to make yourself feel better. People who don't know Millie need not judge her for earning a living in a medium that can be overly sexualized because Ms. Brown has shown grace and class and has kept, what I can tell, is a good head on her shoulders as she weathers the storms of third party perception and opinion.

Ms. Brown is a talented, lovely and spirited young lady who has a bright future ahead of her. No one should have to endure what she has at any age.
